#LiveMonumental: Going to California

The Live Monumental tour has been moving steadily along, and we have made our way to California, making friends along the way! Our first stop was the KEEN Garage in Palo Alto, California. Mayor Karen Holman of Palo Alto stopped by and gave us the city’s support for the cause! We then hung out with our friends at Patagonia who opened their doors and showed us major support. Next on our schedule was a visit to Chrome Industries in San Francisco to tour their factory and get a sneak peek behind the scenes. We then visited Sockshop & Shoe Company, a small business in San Francisco who helped us drum up more support on the streets. Finally, we got a chance to hang out with Levi’s at their offices and check out all the cool things they’re up to at Levi’s HQ. They even got us into the 49ers game at Levi’s Stadium and were kind enough to show us Oregonians how to tailgate properly!

This leg of the trip has been a whirlwind, but it’s been especially gratifying to spend time with other businesses in support of Live Monumental. The ties within the industry are strong, and rooted in the foundation of conservation and love of the outdoors. Check out some more businesses that have signed on to support #LiveMonumental and add your name as well!
